3 Days Gorilla Trekking Rwanda Safari
Overview
This 3 days Primate Tracking Rwanda Safari takes you to Volcanoes National Park well known for Gorilla trekking in Rwanda. Drive through the unwinding hills in rural areas into the home of endangered mountain gorillas and golden monkey. Your safari begins from Kigali Urban settings in to the village setting of Musanze, this park is a habitat to variety of primate species that you may encounter during your trekking. You will also be to encounter a number of bird species and other wildlife. You will also have a visit to iby’ Iwacu cultural village to get an insight of the Rwanda culture, and watch their traditional ways of living as you have chance to interact with these ex- poachers.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time +2.5hours
Today you will be picked at your lodge or upon arrival your arrival at Kigali airport with your morning flight as recommended by our guide or company representative, head for a city tour to visit the market and Kigali genocide memorial ground before being transferred to Musanze near volcanoes National Park where you will enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Hike Mount Bisoke
This thrilling and rewarding adventure offers breathtaking views of the entire Virunga mountain range as you trek through diverse flora and fauna along the trail. At the summit, you’ll be greeted by the stunning sight of the crater lake, a true natural marvel. Take time to soak in the beauty of this serene crater and the panoramic views from the top of the volcano. After descending from the summit, return to your hotel to relax and unwind after the day’s adventure. Enjoy a peaceful evening and overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 3: Golden Monkey and transfer to Kigali for Airport
Today after you warm early morning breakfast, you will be picked by our safari driver guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing with your packed lunch and start off your day golden monkey trekking in search for these shy primates in the jungle. Just like the gorilla trekking experience, the same applies to golden monkey trekking though no so hectic like gorilla trekking. You will later return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Kigali to your lodge or to the airport to catch up with your afternoon flight to your home country.
